Golden Spider Nomination for DSC

Just six months out of the traps and the fledgling downsyndromecentre.ie has been recognised for its innovative design and functionality with the announcement that our site has been nominated for a Golden Spider Award.

Around for the last 12 years, the Golden Spiders celebrate high achievement in digital creativity and innovation. Each year the Awards recognise and reward brands, organisations, agencies and individuals who truly innovate, embrace new technologies and exceed expectations in the online environment

We are delighted to join with seven other nominees in the category "Best Community and Charity" website. The eventual winner will be announced on 20th November.

As the first service of the centre and our public facia until the time we erect the physical centre, we take this as further confirmation that we are being noticed and thank the over 20,000 people from countries worldwide, who have visited our site in the last few, formative months. We have great things planned for the site in coming months, so please bookmark us or add us to your RSS Feed.

And in the meantime, fingers crossed for the 20th .....

Congratulations! That is brilliant news, and well deserved! I am a big fan of your site, love all your updates and bits of news from around the world. Always so interesting and up to date too.
Will defo be keeping my fingers crossed for the DSC on Nov 20th!
