€75 for one session / €130 for two sessions __________________________________________________________________Drawing on recent research and current thinking in the fields of early intervention and developmental disability, this seminar will outline the development of the young child with intellectual disability and addresses many of the common concerns for those living and working with them. Theory and research findings are transcribed into practical applications for parents and professionals based on tried and tested strategies.

Ann Haig Wheeler is an early intervention specialist and behaviour analyst with over 20 years experience working with children with intellectual disability. She is the mother of a 10 year old daughter with Down syndrome and Autism and delivers her seminars in a very pragmatic and user-friendly fashion. Ann has authored many articles on various topics relating to child development and has presented widely. Ann has recently returned to live in the US after spending eight years in Ireland.
