Laughternoon 09 takes place in just under four weeks time and joining us this year to provide the after lunch entertainment will be the exciting, new comedy talent that is Willie White.

Willie was one of the new breed of Irish comedians discovered through RTE's "Joy in the Hood" which was presented by Des Bishop. He auditioned for the programme in the Axis Theatre in Ballymun - where he was born and bred - and due to his great timing and hilarious observational comedy became one of the featured comedians on the show.

Since then Willie's comedy career has taken off. He is a regular in the Laughter Lounge and performs in the many comedy festivals which take place around the country.

We are looking forward to welcoming him to Laughternoon on 17th December.
