Inca Trail Challenge 2010 - Presentation Evening

On Monday 28th September, we will be holding our information evening on the Inca Tail Challenge 2010 in Bewley's Hotel, Leopardstown at 8.30pm to welcome and inform everyone who has signed up and of course, to those who are still deciding.
We have a full presentation to make concerning:
1. The charity - Down Syndrome Centre - and what the money we are raising will go to fund.
2. The itinerary for the 10 day trip
3. The training programme which is scheduled to help us all prepare and up our levels of fitness in readiness for the challenge
4. Insurance issues
5. A presentation on the gear and equipment which each person will require for the trek
6. Medical guidelines
7. Checklist / timeline
8. Q & A

IMPORTANT
Time is slipping past quickly and we need to start the registration process for the event and ask those who have already committed to the trek to pay an initial non-refundable deposit of €500.
This up front payment will be used to cover the cost of the permits that the Peruvian government issue to each person treking the Inca Trail. Each permit must be applied for in the name of the individual trekker along with an accompanying passport number and must be applied for shortly.
We are looking forward to welcoming you on board and answering all your questions on Monday 28th at 8.30pm.
