On Saturday 4th September, the annual Sporting Proud Triathlon which takes place in Brittas Bay, Co Wicklow, will be supporting Down Syndrome Centre. Whether it's your first or your thirty-first swim,bike,run, would you consider doing it to help raise funds for us?

This is run as both an individual and team event so you can decide whether to go it solo or buddy-up with some friends and share the glory! Individuals are asked to raise a €300 entry fee and €1,000 for a team.

Background:

Sporting Proud have been running an annual charitable sports events - mainly triathlons - since 1998 and have raised over €1,000,000 for a variety of child-related causes. In this time, they have welcomed more than 1,100 participants to the event and the vast majority had never done a triathlon before.
