If you haven't given much thought to donating a dress this year, we'd like to encourage you to consider if it might be possible to make a bit of space in your wardrobe by letting go of one or two dresses, and donating them to us for Buy My Dress 2010?

 This year there are even more simply ways for you to donate:

-Freepost to us at: Buy My Dress, 62-63 Lower Mounttown Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin 

                           Buy My Dress, 10 Dewberry, Mount Oval Village, Rochestow, Co. Cork

                           Buy My Dress, 3 Ocean Drive, Oranmore, Co Galway.

-Drop it off to any Peter Mark Salon in counties Dublin, Cork, Galway, and participating salons in counties Meath, Kildare and Wicklow.

-Many Credit Union offices around the country are also acting a drop off points. 

If you would like to organise your own mini-collection point, be it in your workplace, amoung your keepfit class or your children's playgroup, we would love to hear from you. We can supply you with posters, flyers and specially branded collection bags. And of course, once you're done collecting we will organise to collect your dresses from you without delay. Last year's income was used to support the creation and funding of the post of Ireland's first Down Syndrome Liaison Nurse to AMNCH Tallaght. On behalf of the 30 sets of new parents whom Angela has already seen since last October, thank you for your dress contribution. It has translated into a very beneficial service and we hope to be able to extend the service this year, to fund further nurses to Cork and Galway.

Thanks in advance to all of you whom have already volunteered to work at BMD on the day itself, and also to help us out in the run up to the event. Of coure, any more offers like that would be gratefully received!

The events take place on Thursday 20th May, in Dublin (Royal College of Physicians) , Cork (Cork School of Music), and Galway (Hotely Meyrick) from 10am to 8pm with a €10 admission charge.
