Roly's Review 1992 in aid of Down Syndrome Centre
On Monday July 12th, John O’Sullivan of Roly’s Bistro will be ‘turning back the hands of time’ for Roly’s Review of 1992, a novel fundraising evening in aid of Down Syndrome Centre, at which diners will choose from the restaurant’s original opening menu from 1992 and pay the same prices charged eighteen years ago.
The restaurant will be taking bookings for two sittings at 6.30pm and 9.00pm. In return for the opportunity to enjoy a great meal at this one-night only pre-euro price, guests will be asked to make their own contribution towards the charity and it’s bid to provide improved information and services to parents whose children have been born with this intellectual disability. The charity’s main goal is to build Ireland’s first centre to provide services specific to the developmental needs of people who have Down syndrome.
So what can you get for your money if you get along to Roly’s Review 1992 on 12th July?
For a spend of £15 you can enjoy a sample three course meal as follows:
· Chicken and Spring vegetable terrine, tomato vinaigrette (£3.95)· Supreme of Chicken filled with wild mushroom (£7.50)
· Creme brulee with praline ice cream (£2.50).
Alcoholic beverages are not included in the offer.
So whether you fancy a night out with a loved one (or two), or an opportunity to entertain clients, we hope you might consider taking a table at Roly's Review and casting your mind back to wherever you were in 1992!
