It’s that time of year again folks when all of us here in Down Syndrome Centre are gearing up in preparation for our annual Christmas fundraising lunch, Laughternoon.

As usual we’ll be in the Four Seasons Hotel, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, on Friday 16th December.

Jackie O'Donohoe Memorial Golf Classic Jackie O’Donohoe (RIP) was a wonderful supporter of this charity since it’s infancy. She wrote the book It’s Me! It’s Me! in 2005, and donated all royalties from it to Down Syndrome Centre. It tells a lively colourful story about a little girl full of sunshine learning to make friends in school.

What a great day we all had on Saturday - in all locations. The people queued. The doors opened, the rails and changing-rooms were stormed and then, music to our ears, the tills began to ring.
