It’s that time of year again folks when all of us here in Down Syndrome Centre are gearing up in preparation for our annual Christmas fundraising lunch, Laughternoon.

As usual we’ll be in the Four Seasons Hotel, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, on Friday 16th December.

Tickets cost €125 per person. Tables of ten or twelve can be accommodated.

Jackie O'Donohoe Memorial Golf Classic Jackie O’Donohoe (RIP) was a wonderful supporter of this charity since it’s infancy. She wrote the book It’s Me! It’s Me! in 2005, and donated all royalties from it to Down Syndrome Centre. It tells a lively colourful story about a little girl full of sunshine learning to make friends in school.

Sigmar kick starts it's fundraising with €2,500 donation!

Sigmar, Ireland's leading recruitment agency, has undertaken to raise €10,000 for Down Syndrome Centre and are now a quarter of the way there thanks to the €2,500 raised from their 'great growing power' day! 

Sigmar have just been awarded Ireland's Best Sales & Marketing and Accountancy & Finance Recruitment Teams at the 2010 National Recruitment Federation Awards.
