“Luke is 11 yrs old. He has Down syndrome. He is the youngest of 4 children. He is active in sports. He attends soccer club, athletics, basketball club and he swims. He loves going to his friends house on playdates and equally enjoys his friends coming to his house. He likes playstation on Saturdays. Friday is his favourite day as it is pizza and lap top day. (His reward for being a great boy all week). Luke would like to be a chef and have his own diner/restaurant someday.” Mum, Vanessa Simons

What Luke’s Mum had to say…

“Luke got his first taste in a Michelin star restaurant in Chapter One. Ross Lewis and his team made a dream come true for a young boy who has big dreams of being a chef. It truly was an amazing day for Luke and he is still dining out on it, talking about it. Thank you just doesn’t seem enough. On the back of Chapter One Luke has invitations to go see two other restaurants, which we will do over the Easter holidays.”

What Chapter One had to say…

“Luke lit up our kitchen and every chef in it with his enthusiasm. Seeing the team react to this put a smile on everyone’s face. It was the best day we have had in a very long time.” Ross Lewis, Chapter One

Thank you
