What Rebecca’s Dad had to say…

“We met Ashling and Emma at the Design Centre today and had a great time. As Rebecca loves clothes and putting on fashion shows at home she was in her element today. Ashling gave Rebecca two beautiful gifts, they are in the pictures, one is the designers sketch of a dress that is in the process of being made and the other is the lovely head piece she is wearing in the pictures the one with the pink feathers.”

What Design Centre had to say…

‘We at Design Centre were thrilled to take part in celebrating World Down Syndrome Day 2019. I personally found the ‘I Could Be’ Campaign very compelling from a fashion perspective as someone as vivacious and talented as Rebecca can bring so much to the design table with her innate qualities, talents and skills as well as her undeniable passion for fashion. Our team were delighted to show Rebecca our diverse range of Irish designers as well as giving her a tour of our very own design room where many of our fabulous evening gowns are created.

We provided Rebecca with a beautiful pink feather headpiece as well as a sketch of one of our SS19 dresses as a token to remember us by with thanks to Aoife Harrison and Synan O Mahony who are just two of the incredible Irish designers that we house at Design Centre. We think this is a great way to raise awareness regarding World Down Syndrome Day and we would definitely be interested in taking part in the campaign again’ Aisling Kilduff, Owner of Design Centre.

Thank you

We would like to say a huge thank you to Ashling and Emma and everyone at Design Centre for supporting our ‘I Could Be’ campaign and making Rebecca’s visit a very special and stylish affair.
