Job Opportunities at The Down Syndrome Centre

Basic Grade Occupational Therapist – Full Time

At the Down Syndrome Centre, we strive to create a Centre dedicated to providing
support and services to families and carers of people with Down syndrome; helping
them to reach their full potential and creating a brighter future.  

We currently have a vacancy for a Full-Time Basic Grade Occupational Therapist at
the Down Syndrome Centre, Willowbrook House, Swords, Co. Dublin. The purpose
of the role is to work with children and adolescents with Down syndrome and their
families.

The role requires working collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team, as well as
working independently in delivering intervention and assessments to children aged
up to 18 years old.

Applicants must hold a recognised validated University Degree or Diploma or an
equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy with one year post graduate
experience working as an Occupational Therapist, ideally in a pediatric setting.
Applicants must also be registered with CORU to practice in Ireland.

Salary is €39,714 annually according to HSE payscale. This is a full-time/permanent
contract, hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
