RDS Takeover Day
May 13, 2019 by Downsyndromecentre
One of the amazing opportunities offered by Leinster Rugby to their charity partners is an RDS Fundraising Takeover Day and on Saturday 22nd December 2018 we got the chance to do just that at the Leinster verses Ulster match.
Rudolph went blue for Leinster Rugby with a little help from the some of the players and we sold blue noses to beat the band!
We festooned the RDS with our 21 Faces Campaign posters and giant canvases which really brought to life the work we do at our centre and the children we are fundraising for.
We were delighted to be presented with a cheque for €1,000 from the Official Leinster Supporters Club (OLSC) raised from their table quiz.
We would like to say a huge thank you to the 70 fantastic volunteers who braved the cold, donned a blue nose and shook buckets for the evening and to everyone who supported us by making a donation – we really appreciate it!
